Decoupage week Day 5.... Butterfly garden Step by step

Hello everyone tonight is the step by step, for the Butterfly Garden Stamp set, you will need what we had for the previous project plus the pink copics I used RV23,RV21,and RV02 in this project.

1, Cut out a  large butterfly mask,

2, stamp the butterfly in the bottom right hand corner, don't worry to much we will trim to suit later as we did before..
3, Cover stamped image with mask
4, Stamp Corners with the corner stamp in the set, to create a frame
5, leave mask on and stamp writing, taking note of where your stamping, the writing needs to stay in the frame...
5a, use a piece of paper to mask out the frame area while your stamping the writing. helps stop bleed over,
6, Once you have removed your mask you will have your frame base.See how the butterfly looks like it's above the border and hovering over the writing.Clever eh!!!!
7, at this stage you will want to stamp your extra layers, In this project I have 2 x small Butterflies and 1 x large Butterfly on a seperate piece of White card. on the large Butterfly using the background writing from the set stamp both sides, don't worry about going over the edges as you will cutting it out for layer 2 on the project....
8, Now your base is dry and ready , you can colour and stipple the edges I've used Adirondack Cranberry,
9, Once you have finished your base ,Trim and mount onto green card with a border of 3mm, trim the Cherry pink card to fit a white 6x6 card like below...Now Trim and cutout your layers..
 10. Assemble the card as shown below. I either use sticky pads or silicon glue for the layers more often or not pads as they are instant , add the detail sparkle on the dots of all the layers of the butterflies this time Antique Pink detail wand ( just a thought if you don't have the detail wand colours you want try adding a liitle in a small squeesy bottle with a fine nib , it's quite thick  but it does work.) Then to finish wrap ribbon and sash and mount all on the card, I find it best to add the detail when you have completed the card, at least it could be stood on a shelf to dry away from harm...

and your finished card

Thank you for popping by and or taking part... let me know how you get on any problems message me , I shall be back next week with the new Decoupage Stamp sets... Robin on a post, Boy and Sleigh,Cottages, Candle  and Frosty the Snowman, samples and maybe a 'step by step' till then have great weekend ....
