Top 100 Christmas samples 24-28

Good evening everyone, tonight's selection of cards are from the Decoupage Stamp sets Ivy and Holly, showing you a few ways to use them. These sets are brilliant as they have the greetings as well as the extras to use with your projects...

24, Ivy Decoupage stamp set, stamped with Stazon black and coloured with pearly palett's, using a water brush. I've layered the border and the leaves, then mounted the panel onto black glossy then green card stock, Cutting a piece of brown card stock for the backing stamp with the a black ink pad, I often use versafine as this really gives good results, while this is still moist dust on mica powders,  and buff i still do set with hairspray, mount as shown and wrap ribbon to finish.
25, Ivy decoupage Gold leafing with red gilt, this really works well with this Stamp set and using laminating sheets for the leaves stamp the image with stazon and then gild the back. I've mounted the panel onto black glossy card, the back ground was created by using Stencil paint gold and bronze and with a stiff brush 2 inch paint brush works well the bristles are nice a stiff to drag across old rough card bockingford art paper 300gsm works best but if you have rough card it will work. drag paint one way then the other with the tip of the brush, a little paint don't get the brush too wet, with a little practice you will get the look of canvas.....the greeting was stamped and mounted with the little extra holly from set also gilding , choosing ribbons to match attach with wire and curl.
26, Holly decoupage set, using white detail embossing powder stamp the image 4 times then colouring on the back with either felt tips or pastel pencils, I have used oil based pencils too this one was with pastel pencils. the background card was stamped with the other extras in the set with versa mark and left to dry, this was then mounted onto red then greencard stock to match colours... to finsh add the ribbon to one side.t
27, This Holly Decoupage card, was created with Sparkle medium on the back of acetate and 4 layers colours, the easiest way is to stamp 4 images and colour only what you need but rember to turn the acetate over before colouring.otherwise they won't match up when you cut them out ,then when dry it's easy to cut them out  to layer with silicone glue, this was simply mounted onto gold card wrapping the ribbon around the base backing before attaching the panel Sparkle medium colours were gold, Diamond, Red and Hunter green the backing papers were from craft creations.
28, the whole card was created by all different colours of pearly pallet paints I actually used really awfull greenish gray card, by spraying the pallet with water mix them really well and big strokes across the card and even using a mister to get the mica moving and  rolling around do loads at a time then you can choose the layers that work well togther, once it's dry and you can use a hair dryer to speed up the process, I've then stamped and embossed with a glitter sparkle embossing powder I make up....1/2 and pot of detail black embossing powder and 2 teaspoons of really sparkly glitter mix well and use this gives a black sparkly lines, cut the layers and mount on gold then black card, the back ground stamped and embossed as main image, this was mounted on black and ribbon the finish.

thank you for dropping by today I will try and add a few more over the week end to create a slot for the New stencil designs Christmas cards that i have been making over the last couple of weeks..till then have a good weekend Happy crafting   Jayne x
