Well ....sorry i haven't been back for a day or two but things here in the studio are all go go go..leading up to the tv show tomorrow, I'm joining Sue and Harvey at the Studios in the morning,to get things ready for the live show at 6pm on QVC....so tonight i'll just add a few samples..these are all from the Spring range of the Decoupage stamps which you can purchase from http://www.imaginationcrafts.co.uk/

Spring Decoupage Butterfly


Good evening,

Tonight's card is......

Butterfly Decoupage Step card

 As you can see it's a step card !!! really cool and easy to make....
 Stamp and emboss 5 images with gold detail embossing powder one will be for the extra butterflies color using the fabulous new Vintage Palett ,cut out each layer and assemble as shown, mat and layer onto deep plum card stock, the back ground was also embossed with gold using the swirl from the stencil stamping set Butterfly Delight onto a lighter shade of burgandy card , mat and layer ontop of the darker plum card ,attach ribbon and wire onto this layer...fold a 6x6 card in half this will be the step and the back of the card will be the platform, you will also need to create another backing card for the platform and then add extra Butterflies as shown..the greeting is also gold embossed and is from the Decoupage Butterfly set. This Sample really is 'hot off the press'...Simple by design but really stunning, and so quick to do, if your ever stuck for a quick card this is it!!!!....

Lacy Swirl stencilled with Granite Black Pearly Paint (http://www.imaginationcrafts.co.uk/),  Using the cut and dry technique, once dry mat and layer with black then gold, stamp greeting on red card stock, trim, mat and layer onto black attach with 2mm foan tape onto card, thread wire through ribbon and attach. Thread wire back through to twirl as shown...I love these New!!!! Pearly Paints they are really smooth and so easy to use..

Bronze Blossom Birthday card


The base is done using a brush painting Technique using the Vintage Pearly Palett, if you go to The imagination Blog there is a very detailed step by step for you to follow, to create these really easy but stunning backgrounds.ok we use the full blossom Stencil and Black Sparkle Medium,once dried trim to fit 6x6 black card, before attaching to the card. stamp and emboss using black sparkle embossing powder the greeting from the new Sentiment stamp range. add double ribbon to match with wire pulling wire back through for twirling as shown.

Just one more

ok here are the details from last nights samples....


Spring Decoupage Butterfly  stamp set
Mica powders
Waterbrush
Swirl stamp from Butterfly Delight Stencil Stamping











Stamp and emboss with black sparkle powder ( black detail e/p with glitter), 4 layers, colour with mica powders and water mixing colours on your  heat sheet, the background is created by stamping the swirl stamp randonly over the precut card with versa mark and dusting with touquiose mica powders, buff up with a large fluffy brush and seal with hairspray.Mat and layer onto contrasting colours,The large butterfly is only attached along the center so you can lift the wings slightly, so it would be best to colour all layers.....

Hello again,
Ok i thought what might be a good idea for future followers, would be for me to give you a brief introduction of my self. And then show you a few card samples ,that i have been working on and hopefully in time i'll get some step by step projects done for you all to have a try..

I am the Creative Design Director for Imagination Crafts http://www.imaginationcrafts.co.uk/ I not only Desisgn some of their products, such as the Decoupage stamps,Stencils and Stencil Stamping stamp sets, i'm also privalged to say i create some of the Card samples for their TV shows on Qvc and the craft shows we attend around the country where you will see me demonstrating along side of the very creative Sue Jones as seen on QVC, i must also mention that our next show is at 6pm on 27th Jan 2012, where you will see some of the samples following shortly, Sue will be showing us some Brand New Stamps and Stencils along with new techniques, the things that make you go WHOW!!! so don't miss it,
I have to admit that this has to be the most exciting time in my Crafting Journey,I love my Job, to be honest it's not a job...it's a passion and i'm extremely lucky to be able to design the products and then use them, and i'm sooooo enjoying myself!!!!!..
